Busy, busy, busy!

I can't believe it's been over a month since I last wrote a blog entry. Mental note to self: must try harder!

My excuse is that I've been so busy of late; in fact, I didn't have a day off in October - not good! I've been balancing the studio with location shoots and all the while enhancing John and Erin's wedding pics and designing their beautiful album. In the midst of all of this, I also went over to Melton Mowbray for a couple of days to help out some friends (Kate and Jay at PointBlank Photography - hello!) with some work they were doing for the Melton Times newspaper. All good fun!

One location shoot was particularly fun: I went down to Lichfield to photograph a family with five kids (all magnificently-behaved!) as they prepared for their big Halloween party. After they'd scooped out their pumpkins (see pic) and adorned them with evil faces, we popped out into the garden for some oh-so-seasonal leaf-fights - fantastic!

Oh and you'll be pleased to know that I did all my globetrotting (well, Midlands-trotting!) using only public transport. Yes, it's not ideal having to get four buses to Melton or standing on a cold, dark and wet platform at Lichfield Trent Valley, but anything's better than global climate catastrophe, right?

Until next time, keep it green!
