Wedding of John & Erin

Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog! And indeed my first foray into the blogosphere - very excting!! There’s a number of people from past clients to family members who have expressed an interest in keeping up-to-date with the goings on chez Adam, and one such person suggested that I start a blog. So here we are - enjoy!

I photographed the marriage of John and Erin Mitchell on Saturday. It was a beautiful (albeit very windy) day featuring a beautiful couple. I’ve had a quick look at the photos and they too are beautiful, but I’ll have to digitally process them before sharing them I’m afraid! The venue, Walworth Castle in County Durham, was utterly fabulous. The ubiquitous Damask wallpapers provided funky backdrops while the large windows allowed the opulent furnishings to be bathed in strong autumn sunlight - occasionally an annoyance for the perfectionist photographer!

Anyway, John and Erin were a joy to photograph regardless of whatever the elements could throw our way. Erin couldn’t stop smiling all day, and it was a privilege to photograph such a buoyant bride on what was evidently the happiest day of her life. As for John, the ‘nervous groom’ shots I got pre-ceremony were some of the best I’ve ever taken!

As you’ll imagine I’ve got a lot of photoshopping to do, so I’d better get back to it. We’ve got a busy week in the studio this week as well. I hear my colleagues did a great job at the baby show in Derby at the weekend and I’m looking forward to photographing plenty of bumps and bouncy babies.

Until next time, take it easy.
